Monthly Archives: July 2007So, been a little busy lately. This past weekend I finally ran the 5k that I’d been training for. Yipee. I know the time’s not fast. 36 min and 12 seconds…but it’s alot faster than my old non-official time of 41 mins…and WAY faster than my last 5k time (half walked/half ran) of around 48... My sister and her wonderful children sang at Mom and Dad’s church on Sunday. Check it out. For the first time ever! I got to hang out with some of my nieces and nephew tonight. Fun. Tomorrow is going to be a very fun day….with pictures. Have a good weekend everybody! I think it is hilarious (to me at least) that people get all excited, myself included about running certain distances in races, but you run just that much (or at least you should) while training. I guess it only applies to those of us who are transitioning to the run-all-of-it phase from the run/walk phase. ... |
