Monthly Archives: January 2008 Ah, Day Two. Oh how quickly did the morning come. Seeing as 66% of the group had driven/ridden all through Wednesday night/Thursday morning and skied/boarded all day Thursday, it stands to reason that we were all a bit tired Thursday night. Plus, some ill-fitting boots, sock choices and boot fittings weren’t quite right, so those…  You people are demanding! You were there, tell it yourself. Anyway. Thursday was day 1 on the slopes – at least for everyone else. That part of the story, the part where people were all over the mountain and skiing … I can’t tell that part, because I wasn’t there. Anyway, we got out to…  So, what could be more fun than riding in a car full of people and stuff for 14 hours all through the night? Pretty much everything. Ok, it wasn’t that bad, just long. There were the random discussions that the boys had that I will not repeat here, there was the great landscape — oh… I know, there is much to post about from our trip to Breckenridge this past week. I will post, I promise. For now, I will tell you that we all made it through without too much trouble and had a great time, and everyone got home safe. Who needs all those forms and shot records when you want to take your pet with you. Just let him ‘accidently’ hop in your suitcase.
