I love it when gifts are the beginning of something. A new adventure, a new story, a new way to create. It was so nice to be able to capture the beginnings and discovery of things.

One of my favorite gifts was the sewing machine I received for my birthday a few years ago. I used it primarily for sewing on (paper) crafts that first year. My mom was flabberghasted that I would think of that. And I love the shot of your niece under the blanket – so cute!
