Monthly Archives: April 2010 Tell me if this sounds familiar… Your child is playing in the other room. You, amazed that your legs are unhindered by their child-weights, are deftly moving around the kitchen trying to get dinner ready. All of a sudden you notice that it’s TOO QUIET, so you run in to see what the little one…  [5.24.2009] last journal entry… That would be today. I have been finishing this journal up on our nine hour and 45 minute flight back home. Yep, that is long. [the flight actually lasted 11 hours because we had to delay our landing because of weather]. So you would think our day of departure would be…  Sort of. It’s this girl here. She is my new Boss of All Things That Require an Honest Opinion. She is not allowed to handle the money, but she can make her case based on her expertise in knowing exactly what she wants. Sometimes what she wants is to eat ice cream and hang out…  [5.23.2009] journal entry Saturday was our last full day in London. We got an early start so we could try to get everything in. We started at the Churchill Museum and War Cabinet Room. This was really interesting – especially to see information about World War II from the British perspective. At the end of…  I like to do things myself. I like to create things, design things, put things together with glue, tape and string…and occasionally power tools – myself.
